initial setting
To use:Not all televisions have the audio outputs shown above. To connect the soundbar directly to other devices (Blu-ray player, gaming system, etc.), refer to your device's user manual.
* If you're using one of the digital inputs and there's no sound: (A) try setting your TV's output to PCM, or (B) connect directly to your Blu-ray/other source, some TVs don't output digital audio. .
4. Connect the power cord to the AC IN subwoofer as shown. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. Place the power switch in the on position.
5. For the best surround sound experience, position the soundbar as shown. The soundbar should be at ear level. The subwoofer should be placed in a corner of the room.
6. Turn on your TV, the soundbar will automatically turn on and start looking for an active input.
The LED indicators on the front of the soundbar will start cycling through the paired inputs until an audio source is detected.* You can press the INPUT button to switch between audio sources. For example, if you have your TV connected to input 1, set your soundbar to input 1.

1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the soundbar or the Bluetooth button on the remote for five (5) seconds. When the soundbar is in Bluetooth pairing mode, the LED indicators on the display panel on the front of the soundbar will scroll from bottom to top and vice versa. 3. Play audio from your Bluetooth device. Volume can be controlled via your source and audio device
Bar.
Using Bluetooth Mode
Your soundbar supports music streaming from Bluetooth-enabled smartphones, tablets and computers. Device compatibility varies. For more information, see your device's documentation. Once you've paired your source device with the soundbar, your device should remain paired as long as it's within range of the soundbar, even if you change the input on the soundbar.
maximizing the signal
A Bluetooth signal has a range of up to 30 feet. Note that Bluetooth is a compressed audio format, so streaming music may lose integrity compared to a wired connection.
Try the following if your sound quality isn't the best:
• If you hear a dropout or dropped connection when streaming music from your device, move the source device closer to the soundbar.
• Make sure there are no solid obstacles in the line of sight between the soundbar and the source device.
• Other wireless devices may affect the Bluetooth range, including wireless security cameras, wireless video baby monitors, cordless phones, and microwave ovens. Turning off or moving these devices can improve Bluetooth range.
subwoofer reconnect
The subwoofer has already been paired with the VIZIO Sound Bar. However, it may be necessary to reconnect the subwoofer to the soundbar if there is no sound from the subwoofer.
<<>> What does pairing mean? Pairing means connecting wirelessly.
First, make sure the power switch is in the ON position. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the subwoofer for 5 seconds. The LED on the back of the subwoofer starts to flash.
Press and hold the power button on top of the soundbar for 5 seconds. The LED indicators on the front will flash 3 times. The subwoofer is now connected to the soundbar.
Using keyboard shortcuts
There are 3 functions activated by 3 different key combinations on the soundbar.
Mount the soundbar on the wall
Insert the two wall mount screws into the respective holes and tighten them with a Phillips screwdriver.
Attach the supplied wall mount template to the wall below your TV. Mark the four holes on the bracket with a pencil.
Make sure your screws are secured to wooden studs, drywall anchors (for drywall) or concrete anchors
(for brick/concrete walls). Screws for securing brackets to the wall are not included. Choose screw type and screw length based on your home construction. If in doubt, consult a professional installer.

common questions
What are the measurements of the sub?
The dimensions of the subwoofer are 10.83" x 15.60" x 13.78".
What is the RMS value?
It is not designed for amplified inputs from a receiver, for example, so the rms value it is capable of is irrelevant. Output power in watts or RMS isn't listed, but it's decently high, especially on the subwoofers. I had to turn the volume down so as not to shake the house, 😉
Does it work on 220V 50Hz?
You'd have to find one made for foreign markets... can't change right away
Do you have HDMI 2.1 pass through with 4k@120hz/8k@60hz and vrr?
A correction to the previous post: Elevate supports HDMI 2.0 pass-through for HDR10 and Dolby Vision content, and outputs audio for Dolby Atmos TrueHD. Our support team will be happy to get the details of your home theater setup and the devices you are using to help recommend the best settings for viewing your content. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click "Contact Us".
What is the thread size on the back of the surround sound speakers for mounting?
All hardware comes with the system, nothing extra needed... but I also bought a set of speaker posts for better placement... $50 off Amazon!
Can this be set up without WiFi? I only stream to my new 85 inch Sony TV through my cable internet router. I like it when everything is on.
Yes, this soundbar can be used without WiFi.
Does the subwoofer light go out when you turn off the soundbar?
To answer your question, I would like more information. If you have a moment to spare, we are at your service via SMS, chat or telephone. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click "Contact Us".
Does this system connect directly to a TCL Roku TV?
Yes. Simply connect your video/audio devices to one of the three HDMI inputs on the soundbar, then connect the soundbar to the eARC HDMI input on your TV. Setup with my TCL 6 Series was easy, and once you've connected your soundbar to the eARC, the TV remote will also control the volume.
How long does the soundbar last?
This soundbar is approximately 48″ long
How much does a bar of som weigh?
The soundbar weighs 12.39 pounds. The subwoofer weighs 25.72 pounds.
Does it support HDt and HDR 10 and HDR 10+?

Will this new remote work with other Vizio soundbars that come with non-backlit remotes?

Is it possible to connect other speakers to the subwoofer than the 2 supplied speakers?
This system does not allow for additional speakers.
599.99 in stores, but retail here?
I don't know if the price is for this model. It looks pretty low.
How will this soundbar affect hearing?
Well, it's loud enough for me and the volume is only at half.
quantos watts
Instead of measuring in watts, which is just a measure of power consumption, we measure soundbars in sound pressure levels, or dB. This soundbar reaches a volume of 107 dB with a frequency response of 30 Hz - 20 kHz.
